This Privacy Policy explains how Terence MG Leaño (“I,” “me,” “my”), operating as ThroatSingKing (TSK) and Eso•Terence, collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit or interact with terencemgl.com (the “Site”).

1. Information I Collect

• Contact information you provide directly, such as your name and email address, when you sign up for updates, place an order, or contact me;
• Order information, such as your billing and shipping addresses, items purchased, selected sizes or colours, and payment status, when you purchase merchandise;
• Communications you send me, such as emails, contact form submissions, and booking or project details;
• Basic technical information collected automatically when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, requested pages, and request times, which hosting and security providers may process to deliver and protect the Site.

2. How I Use Your Information

• To process payments, fulfill and ship orders, and handle customer support, refunds, or payment disputes;
• To send newsletter updates and announcements, if you’ve subscribed — you can unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email;
• To respond to your messages and inquiries;
• To email you about a possible CD pressing of Ancient Voice Vault I if you submit a CD request (your name, email address, country and number of copies);
• To maintain and improve the Site and help prevent fraud or misuse;
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

3. How Information Is Shared

I don’t sell your personal information. I share information as needed with service providers that help run this Site, respond to inquiries, and fulfill orders, including:

• Printful, which receives recipient contact information, shipping addresses, and product and order details needed for production and shipping;
• Stripe, for payment processing, as explained below;
• PayPal, for payment processing of some purchases, as explained below;
• Kit (formerly ConvertKit), which processes email subscriptions and delivers newsletter updates and requested email content;
• Formspree, which processes contact form submissions and delivers your messages;
• Cloudflare, for website hosting and security, and Google Fonts, which receives technical information such as your IP address when your browser requests the Site’s fonts.

These providers process information to deliver their services and may also have their own responsibilities under their privacy policies. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or as permitted by law to protect rights, prevent fraud, or resolve disputes.

4. Payments Through Stripe

Payments are handled through Stripe-hosted checkout pages. Payment details go directly to Stripe; this Site does not receive or store your full card number or card security code. I receive order and transaction information needed to manage your purchase, including contact details, billing and shipping addresses, payment status, and limited payment method details, such as card brand and last four digits.

Stripe processes payment, transaction, device, and usage information to complete payments, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies during checkout. If you choose to save information with Link, Stripe handles that information through its Link service. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for details about its practices and your choices.

5. Payments Through PayPal

Shop orders and the Ancient Voice Vault pre-order can be paid through PayPal. When you choose PayPal, you are sent to PayPal to complete payment. Payment details go directly to PayPal; this Site does not receive or store your PayPal login, full card number, or card security code. I receive the order and transaction information needed to manage your purchase, including your name, email address, payment status, the amount paid, and any shipping address PayPal provides.

6. Cookies and Browser Storage

The shopping cart uses your browser’s local storage to remember selected products, variants, and quantities between visits. It does not store card details. You can clear this information through your browser’s site-data settings; doing so removes your saved cart. Blocking storage may prevent the cart from working properly. The background-video quality option in Site Settings also saves your preference in local storage so it applies across pages and visits. Clearing site data resets this preference; if storage is blocked, the selection applies only to the current page. Third-party services you interact with, including Stripe checkout, may use their own cookies or similar technologies. Your browser settings let you manage cookies and site data separately.

7. Data Retention

I keep your information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described here, or as required by law — for example, tax and accounting records.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To make a request, email support@terencemgl.com and I’ll respond as required under applicable law, including Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), where applicable. I may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.

You can withdraw consent to optional communications by unsubscribing or contacting me. This does not stop necessary order or service messages. You may also raise a privacy concern with me or complain to the privacy regulator responsible for your jurisdiction.

9. Children’s Privacy

This Site is not directed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International Processing

This Site is operated from Canada. Your information may be processed or stored in Canada, the United States, and other countries where service providers operate, regardless of where you live. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those in your country, and information may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, or other authorities under local law.
